Reference to the 70’s

Jeanne Damas is often called the heiress of Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin – the girl has become a modern icon of Parisian style. However, the French celebrity is against such a "nicknames": in her opinion, it is strange to call a style icon a person, who most often prefers to wear t-shirt together with jeans. Jeanne easily manages to combine casual retro-chic with the latest trends, but in her looks it-girl often focuses on vintage clothing. Flare jeans, dresses with floral prints, camisole, the combination of white and beige colors –a clear portrait of a Parisian woman of the 70’s emerges.

Simplicity and Naturalness

An important feature that distinguishes French women is the ability to add sexuality to the simplest, everyday look: Parisian women don't want to look trendy, they want to look seductive and natural. True elegance lies in simplicity: a minimum of texture and details and a maximum of natural beauty. Flared jeans, a crop top, a loose classic coat, a shoulder bag and heels are the perfect casual look from Jeanne Damas.

Flowered Dress

The main it-girl of France believes that in order to look feminine and charming, you just need to wear a dress with a floral print: and immediately the casual look becomes romantic old-fashioned. This year, such brands as Oscar de la Renta, Alexander McQueen, offer a new perspective on this popular spring-summer print. Large floral patterns and a riot of colors are the trend of this season, but Jeanne remains true to her style, and prefers delicate flowered dress.

Love for jackets

Over time, a perfectly fitting jacket from a business dress code item eventually turned into an everyday wardrobe item. Jeanne Damas prefers to combine boxy jackets with romantic dresses, jeans with lace tops – it’s so French! A beige or dark blue jacket will be the lifesaver of any outfit: it looks perfect in a duet with almost all clothes.

Satin Dress

A satin midi dress in linen style is another favorite item from the wardrobe of the famous Parisian woman – for evening outings, Jeanne often chooses this very model. A wicker basket, which is adored by all true French women, adds the unique French chic and charm.

Knitted cardigans

In spring, you just can't do without a knitted cardigan – this garment helps not to get cold on fresh, cool evenings. Jeanne Damas believes that a warm cardigan is a great alternative to lightweight jackets, classic trench coats and other outerwear. Therefore, in her wardrobe, there are always a few "Granny’s" cardigans of nude colors (and, it seems, they are even more cozy than velour pajamas).

Red Lipstick

The star of the Paris street style can’t be even imagined without red lipstick: in combination with Joan’s look, this French symbol looks sensuous and organic. In 2016, Jeanne Damas founded her own brand of premium women's clothing, Rouje, and two years later launched her first beauty line. It is not difficult to guess, what it included: for sure, four different shades of red lipstick. The famous Parisian advises you to apply red lipstick with your fingers and not to fear of creating the effect of carelessness: no lip pencil and hours of "torment" in front of the mirror! – a real French aesthetics.
