Balmain presented their fall-winter 2020/21 collection in Paris. Apparently, the creative director Olivier Rousteing was inspired by the aesthetics of spy thrillers: the models hit the runway in the secret agents’ outfits and demonstrated the way, most stylish secret service officers should look like.
The flagship of the new collection was the angular coat of a trapezoidal cut with voluminous sleeves, made in the main color of 2020 - classic blue. The style of the coat refers us to the story of secret service agents undercover, but now it is an absolutely universal and even basic piece of clothes that will organically fit into even the most conservative wardrobe.

Further, Olivier Rousteing sends his characters to a journey through the desert: sand shades, jackets with patch pockets in safari style, raincoats and poncho - the secret agent must be ready for any weather conditions. However, there is a place for romance in this story. Voluminous sleeves, a pencil skirt with a sensual cut, ruffles and sexy leather sweaters remind of that.

For sure, one of the main fabrics of the collection is leather - stylish pantsuits, loose jackboots and various accessories are made of it.

Psychedelic prints and sweaters decorated with bright embroidery add some mystery to looks.
