On November 17, it became known that Alber Elbaz was going to return to the fashion industry after five years of silence - in 2015, he unexpectedly left Lanvin, where he worked as a creative director for 14 years. As Elbaz himself later admitted, this event was a severe blow for him, from which the maestro was able to recover only a few years later. That is why the rumor about his comeback, which excited everyone a year ago, will give all fans of the designer's work hope for a quick resumption of his design activities.
Back then, the designer shared the plans to launch his own brand AZ Fashion, in collaboration with the Swiss holding company Richemont, which owns brands such as Chloé, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Cartier. Elbaz did not abandon his intentions, making an official statement about the opening of the brand but with some changes - he transformed the brand's name to a more harmonic and personal in some way AZ Factory.
The official opening and show of the first collection will take place at the end of January, in parallel with the regular schedule of Paris Fashion Week. "Love, trust, and respect: this is who I am and this is who we are at AZ Factory," wrote Alber in his ******* account.
