Angel in Black: Candice Swanepoel at Berlin Fashion Week

On January 13, the Mercedes-Benz presented fashion talents from South Africa in Berlin.

Candice Swanepoel, the former Victoria's Secret Angel, became an honored guest of the event.

For the show, the 31-year-old model chose an elegant look. A figure-hugging glowing black dress by Paris Georgia looked concise and original thanks to white frills, which emphasized the stunning figure of Candice, while smooth V emphasized her neckline. Swanepoel didn’t overload the look, abandoning the massive jewelry and giving preference to gold hooped earrings. A pair of black point-toed heels and a tiny black bag completed the look.

For Candice, this show was special because South Africa is her native country, the model was born and raised there. She makes use of every opportunity to support her homeland.

“You do not choose to live in Africa, Africa lives in you, and I carry Africa with me every day”, Candice confessed.
