The BAFTAs 2020 was held tonight in London on February, 2. Such large-scale events always attract the attention not so much by intrigue – who will get the coveted statuette? – but by the opportunity to admire celebrities’ luxurious outfits.

In her look, Renee Zellweger made a bid for brevity. Her baby pink Prada dress from the satin fabric comes against the backdrop of fluffy and pretentious outfits. Her gown featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and the perfect balance between sweet and structured with the interesting sleeve shape and column-style gown.

Scarlett Johansson was another star that wowed in pink. She perfectly balanced over-the-top glam and couture fabulousness with her BAFTAs look, donning this show-stopping Atelier Versace number on the red carpet. The star's flamingo pink confection featured a slinky silhouette, sleek cutouts, and just the right amount of sequins and feathers to set her apart on this big night.

Daisy Ridley has appeared on the red carpet in a dress by Oscar de la Renta. The actress posed for photographers in a dress of malachite shade with a pleated skirt. Draped over one shoulder shawl gave a feel of airiness.

We're used to Zoe Kravitz wowing us on the red carpet in revealing outfits, so we were underwhelmed by her BAFTAs choice. This time, the star decided to surprise the audience with simple gold Saint Laurent gown, which featured long sleeves and a fitted skirt. Zoe looked like a figurine. Her look turned out to be a very stylish and chic look.

Gillian Anderson demonstrated a very noble outfit: the actress came to the ceremony in a black velvet bandeau dress from the brand Camilla and Mark. Concise outfit was completed by Tiffany & Co jewelry.

Emilia Clarke stole the spotlight in a black silk Schiaparelli frock featured sparkling navy blue embellishments. The dazzling outfit is a tribute to the Elsa Schiaparelli iconic dress "Skeleton", created in 1938.

Unfortunately, the ceremony sometimes brings out fashion misses. Wild Rose Actor Jessie Buckley's dress didn’t please the audience: a floor-length velvet navy ensemble with a dramatic ostrich feather neckline spoiled Jessie’s figure.

A rather controversial look was demonstrated by Charlize Theron: strapless custom Dior design would look nice if not a deep neckline that looked too provocative.

One of the worst look at the event belonged to Florence Pugh: it seems that Dries Van Noten dress consists of two unrelated elements: a simple black minidress and a fuchsia cape-like robe with voluminous sleeves.
