Bulgari celebrates the birth of Fondazione Bulgari the year of the 140th anniversary of the fashion house. The executive director Jean-Christophe Babin, speaking at the Ara Pacis in front of the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, shared the news. At the ceremony, the brand's representative reported 12 recently restored city landmarks at the company's expense.

Bulgari has been involved in charity for many years. They have participated in the restoration of several cultural sites in Italy, such as Largo di Torre Argentina, Piazza di Spagna and many others. 

The brand representatives will to structurise and enhance the impact of their activities. Bulgari's mission bases on 4 pillars: ART AND PATRONAGE,PHILANTHROPY, TRANSMISSION OF SAVOIR-FAIRE and education. 

As for art, the brand collaborates with Rome National Museum MAXXI, Whitney Museum of American Art and the Milan Furniture Fair. Joining forces, they restore deteriorating monuments and maintain them in proper shape.

Establishing the foundation, Bulgari aims to expand their activities and promises that they will be seen not only in Italy, but also in other regions of Europe. 

In 2016, the brand founded the Avrora Award, which is bestowed to talented people regardless of gender or nationality. Together with the organisers of the Tribeca Film Festival, the fashion house supports women’s initiatives in the film industry. 

Bulgari participates in the project of Altagamma fund — Adotta Una Scuola, which offers job placement assistance to young professionals. They also support The Punto Luce della Arti centre in Ostia, a coastal town near Rome. It provides free of charge activities for young people fr om a remote area. Its school provides access to film, photography and design exclusive courses. 

Having a high level of excellence in the industry, Bvlgari intends to create training programmes for debuting professionals. They already have the Bvlgari Jewelry Academy, wh ere future masters of jewellery can develop their skills. And a platform Métiers d'Excellence LVMH for masters fr om within the entire LVMH holding.  

Now the fashion house is going to open La Scuola Bvlgari, a school on their production site, open to all interested. So as to help children, Bulgari actively works with Save the Children, an international organisation protecting the rights of children around the world. In 2016, they launched the Youth Empowerment Programme to support the younger generation from economically disadvantaged countries in South America.

They have raised over $105 million and helped over 2 million children from 36 countries through educational programmes, early intervention services and poverty alleviation. Project MADEREAL tells the stories of those whose lives have been changed for the better with this program. 

On 1 January 2024, Bulgari launched the #WITHMEWITHYOU campaign, wh ere model Eva Herzigova, fashion stylist, Lo Roach, conductor Beatrice Venezia and other brand’s partners took part in. €95 from each sale from the collection will be donated to Save the Children.

From this year, Bulgari Hotels & Resorts will also allocate their revenue to ameliorate the living conditions of children and young people. 

Bulgari believes that communication between people is the main power of society. The company believes that life can be improved by fostering the beauty and unicity of each person.
