Comme Des Garçons and New Balance collabore to make new 550 silhouette
New Balance is teaming up with Tokyo Bunka Fashion College graduate Junia Watanabe from Comme Des Garçons to redesign the popular sneaker. This time around, the duo have dyed the sneakers black, in keeping with the Comme Des Garçons aesthetic.

The look features an all-black upper with contrasting splashes of white on the "N" and "550" logos on the sides, as well as collar patches. The New Balance logo appears on the tongue tag and the text "CdGH new balance" appears on the back of the shoe. The design of midsole is completed with a white color.

An official release date has yet to announce, but sneaker insiders are expecting the CdGH x NB 550 to hit retailers tentatively in October 2022.
