How Haute Couture week started this year

Fashion week kicked off in Paris. The opening show was the new collection by Schiaparelli entirely dedicated to the so-called "planet of the fashion house".

“I wanted to do something completely different from anyone else. Nothing else should have looked the same," the Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry told to British Vogue.

The entire stuff of Schiaparelli designers also set that as purpose. Thanks to them everyone could see how effectively the brand returned to the walk of fame with its new incredibly talented and cosmically surreal collection.

This is literal: one of the models presented a metal bustier outfit decorated with the rings of Saturn, and black wool twill high-waist trousers. Another outfit with a similar space element was a corset bodice decorated with black jacquard flowers. The models demonstrated different ways to use the same element, the rings of the planet Saturn. But the most “sunny outfit” became the center of attraction. The dress and headpiece were made of leather and hand-encrusted with Swarovski crystals. The outfit was covered with gold and vintage jewelry. The collection mainly consisted of white and predominantly gold with black colors.

Despite the originality and eccentricity of designs and detailed images, the collection is full of sophisticated and restrained outfits. Balancing these two sides, it explains the real definition of luxurious elegance which makes you admire the show.
