Dolce & Gabbana will showcase the new Alta Sartoria and Alta Moda collections at the Pitti Immagine Uomo 98 in Florence. The show will be held online on September 2 and 3 September. The creative directors of the brand, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, collaborated with local Florentine craft workshops while working on the collection.

“This parade will also have a symbolic value. It will represent a return to the origins of high fashion because in 1951 Giovanni Battista Giorgini organized the first couture fashion show in his private residence in Florence at Villa Torrigiani. It is a sort of homecoming”, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana explained in the interview with MF Fashion. “Moreover, Florence is linked to our work on craftsmanship and handmade products, which we have been carrying on for years.”

Broadcasts will be available on the online platforms Pitti Immagine and Dolce & Gabbana.
