The fashion industry continues to undergo metamorphoses. The Belgian designer and founder of the self-titled brand Dries Van Noten has taken the initiative to change the calendar of clothing supplies to stores, which was supported by dozens of other designers and retailers.

To this end, the designer sent a letter to the representatives of the fashion industry, urging them to transfer the autumn-winter season from August to January, and the spring-summer one from February to July. Also, designers offer to postpone sales to a later date.

The letter is already signed by Gabriella Hearst, Mary Katrantzou, Marine Serre, the Proenza Schouler founders Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez as well as such retailers as Selfridges, Nordstrom, Lane Crawford, MyTheresa and other fashion companies.
