Italian clothing, perfume and accessories brand DSquared2 has changed its CEO for the first time since 2017. Sergio Azzolari, who previously held senior marketing and sales positions at Benetton, Missoni, Luxottica, Deckers and Tod's Group, became the company's new CEO.
DSquared2 hopes that Azzolari, as an experienced leader, will be able to unleash the full potential of the brand's clothing, ensure strong sales growth and expand the brand's reach in the world. “We are thrilled to welcome Sergio to our team and through his leadership we will achieve sustainable and strong success together,” said DSquared2 twin creators Dean and Dan Caten.
Founded in 1995, DSquared2 has grown into one of Italy's most dynamic fashion houses despite being founded by Canadians. Their approach to fashion is a distinct combination of heritage Canadian iconography, contemporary Italian tailoring, playful sensibility and upbeat rock and roll arrogance. DSquared2 collections are made in Italy, in keeping with the brand's motto "Born in Canada, Made in Italy".
