Felipe Oliveira Baptista, who became the creative director of Kenzo in July 2019, revealed his debut campaign for the brand. According to the designer, he originally planned to shoot in the Azores, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was impossible to bring the idea to life. Then it was decided to send items from the Kenzo fall-winter 2020 collection to New York and Los Angeles, where dancer Lil Buck together with models Lara Stone and Rose Valentine, tried them on. The photographer of the project is British Glen Luchford.

"Expressing the "going places" spirit of the collection, the campaign features vintage images from Glen's archives, which have been recreated with pieces from the #KENZOFW20 collection," says the brand's official statement.

Let us recall that a week ago, the Japanese designer and founder of Kenzo, Kenzo Takada, died in Paris. The cause of his death was the coronavirus.
