Jean Paul Gautier has announced who will be the new guest creative director. The brand has confirmed that it will be 36-year-old French couturier Olivier Rousteing, who has been running the Balmain fashion house for 11 years.

Jean-Paul Gaultier sold his company in 2011, since then his brand's ready-to-wear collections have been released only a couple of times, the last one was shown in 2020. And here is the long-awaited news: Gautier has begun to revive! In May 2021, the brand relaunched its ready-to-wear line with a nautical-themed capsule collection created in collaboration with young brands Ottolinger, Palomo Spain, Lecourt Mansion, Alan Crocetti and Marvin M'Toumo.

In January 2022, a line created by Belgian designer Glenn Martens was released. And the next Jean Paul Gautier couture collection, which is scheduled to show in July 2022, will be created by Olivier Rousteing. We will be able to see the looks at the next Paris Fashion Week.
