Pierpaolo Piccioli brings the female form to the forefront in the S/S24 season. Valentino's "L'Ecole" collection allows all women to be strong, freeing them from standard constraints.
American model Kaia Gerber opened the show with a sculptural mini dress revealing areas of her body. The suits with broad shoulders were in pure white colors. Boxer shirts, floral patterned jeans, loose contour tuxedos, and then majestic green colored dresses. It felt like most of the silhouettes were inspired by the paper snowflakes everyone loved to cut out as kids.
The models walked confidently down the runway, paying homage to women around the world. This concept was reinforced in soft blue hooded dresses and knitwear, and the collection was completed with black and red looks that emphasized Valentino's bright personality.
The collection featured the new Valentino Garavani Vlogo Moon bag with gold chain handles attached to a crescent-shaped silhouette.
