LOEWE SS23: combination of nature and technology

For his Spring/Summer 2023 collection for Loewe, Jonathan Anderson sought to strike a balance between nature and technology, adding grass and digital screens to the runway.

The collection, shown at Paris Men's Fashion Week, featured a Loewe peak, with grass and moss growing right on top of coats and sneakers as models walked down the runway wearing headphones. Key pieces such as bomber jackets, sweatshirts, sweatshirts and polo shirts have been altered in length and shape, and are made from ozone-treated cotton for a well-worn feel. Tech accessories such as blank phone cases, headphones and a flash drive were attached to the leather coat, while digital screens replaced the coats and tops to add contrast that served as a main theme throughout the show.

In terms of accessories, Anderson debuted his signature Puzzle handbags in solid colors. The looks were accompanied by soft sneakers and flow sneakers covered in greenery.
