“We can be strong and feminine at the same time… women carry the weight now,” Miuccia Prada said backstage. The brand unveiled its latest for autumn at Milan Fashion Week. This season, she seeks inspiration in glamor, rethinking it and giving softness, tenderness and sensuality.
Due to the fact that many bloggers, models and buyers from China were unable to come to the show, Miuccia Prada moved the show to a more convenient time - so that fashionistas from around the world could watch it in real time.

In this collection, the designer mixes traditionally men's items - boxy belted jacket, bib-frontshirts and ties - with feminine accessories - bright tights and fringed skirts. The main element of the decor is silk fringe, which adorns the hem of dresses, coat sleeves and blouses made of light fabric. Elegance and fragility of silhouettes are emphasized by combining a wide line of shoulders and a pronounced waist - thus the designer shows that femininity can be completely different: restrained, strict, playful and frivolous.

The FW 2020 collection includes faux fur coats, voluminous down jackets, oversized jackets, fringed skirts, dresses decorated with crystals, multi-colored tights, cardigans and knitted vests. According to the color palette, all the outfits can be divided into two parts: practical black and gray shades prevail in the first one, “princess” pink, burgundy, green, blue and yellow are in the second. Miuccia Prada uses her beloved red in only one dress and several accessories, but fully takes it out to the scenery that surrounds the podium.

The main accessories of the collection are not only pendants and belts, but also micro-bags that models wear on the waist, on the wrists and on the neck, demonstrating their versatility.
