Patriotic Sporty Chic at the Tommy Hilfiger SS 2020 Show

Tommy Hilfiger presented his spring/summer 2020 collection at the London Fashion Week. As part of the show, the brand has revealed a surprise collaboration with Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter H.E.R. The capsule is included in the TommyXLewis collection (Hilfiger’s partnership with five-time World Champion Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton). Tommy Hilfiger showed thoughtful, outstanding looks in the style of sport-chic. The main trends of the new collection are layering, a combination of classic items with joggers, as well as bright satin shawls.

For many years, the designer has managed to reflect the style of real Americans in his collections. Hip-hop stars adore his comfortable sportswear, and many celebrities love the recognizable outfits of the signature blue-red-white colors. Being a true patriot, this time Tommy Hilfiger was inspired by the main symbol of America: the American flag became the main print on clothes.

The show was attended by models Naomi Campbell, Vinnie Harlow and Alessandra Ambrosio. Naomi opened the runway show in in a relaxed, neon-accented techwear ensemble. Her look set the tone for the rest of the the streetwear see-now buy-now collection, full of oversized, tees, sweatshirts, and denim. A dark blue shawl tied around the famous model’s neck complemented the look. Winnie Harlow stepped onto the runway in a white and blue windproof jacket and matching sports shorts. Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio demonstrated a marine style: ultra-short striped shorts were successfully combined with a white blouse and a strict blue blazer.
