Stella McCartney has created a new costume for Minnie Mouse in honor of the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris. The designer dressed the famous Disney cartoon in a pantsuit. The girlfriend of Mickey Mouse, the famous mouse in the world, finally changed her favorite polka-dot dress with white bloomers and low-heeled shoes and put on more progressive and modern look. According to Stella McCartney, this is a great alternative to the usual Minnie look. The new designer ensemble includes a familiar blue polka-dot blazer with matching trousers teamed with a pair of black shoes.. This look promises to create a real sensation in the world of children's fashion and animation. The key part of the outfit of Minnie is her famous bow on her head. McCartney called Minnie Mouse "a symbol of the progress of a new generation.". World-known cartoon character will make her first appearance at a Paris amusement park in March 2022, just in time for Women's History Month.

To support this extraordinary promotion, Minnie Mouse will also be featured on Stella McCartney T-shirts as part of International Women's Day events, and this spring the designer will launch a limited collection based on the Disney film “Fantasia”. The transformation of a beloved cartoon character caused an indignation on the Internet: critics accused the animators of trying to erase history and "destroy the fabric of society." After all, the famous Minnie was created in 1928 and a lot of people grew up on her image.

By the way, just a few months ago another fashion brand also encroached on the cartoon classic. The Simpsons featured an entire episode in which the main characters were dressed in Balenciaga costumes. However, then the audience took this collaboration with enthusiasm.
