Zurich fashion house VTMNTS has created a fall/winter collection of insulated clothing, reminiscent of the images of the inhabitants of the streets of East London. Guram Gvasalia, the creative director of the brand, presented to the viewer's attention cropped black down jackets, double-breasted jackets and bombers with denim and leather inserts. The entire VTMNTS line is dedicated to the coat - not only as a practical way to protect against the cold, but also as a work of art.
Quilted raincoats, sky prints and sheepskin coats on a naked body - that is how Gvasalia saw the modern man of 2022. Strict suits were complemented by bright turtlenecks and gloves, massive boots with geometric toecaps. In addition to denim and leather, satin, velvet, cashmere and tweed were used as materials.
The name of the brand VTMNTS or Vetements translates from French as "clothes". The main ideas of the brand are minimalism, freedom and equality. Former Vetements CEO Demna Gvasalia left the company in 2019 and now he is the creative director of fashion house Balenciaga.
