As we know, one of the most awaited and glamorous red carpet events Met Gala was affected by coronavirus too. The annual fashion's biggest night was supposed to take place on May 4 but has been postponed indefinitely.
However, Billy Porter, undoubtedly one of the brightest participants of Met Gala, does not waste his time trying hard to create new entertainment for his fans. A month ago, he organized a virtual fashion challenge the main task of which was to recreate his 2019 Met Gala red carpet look designed by The Blonds, which included a golden catsuit with 10-foot wings. The participants were also tasked to walk the improvised runway wearing their most astonishing outfits. The feedback was very impressive!
This time the eccentric maestro has united with Vogue magazine for the new ******* challenge. Everyone who wants to pay tribute to the night's peacocking spirit should dig into the sparkling Met Gala's archives, choosing the best outfit and try to reconstruct it. "The task is simple: recreate your favorite red carpet look from a past #MetGala at home. Which ensemble you replicate, and what you use to make it, is entirely up to you—think outside of the box!" – Vogue announced in its ******* account.
The #MetGalaChallenge has already begun and will run through May 3. To take part in the challenge "enter, post a photo of yourself in a red carpet look that you have recreated from a past Met Gala on *******, using the hashtag #MetGalaChallenge. Both Billy Porter and Vogue will select winners of the challenge. Once they are chosen, they will be announced on May 4 in a post on - Vogue explained.
