Following the success of Decentraland's first digital fashion week, featuring over 70 brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Etro and Dolce&Gabanna, Zara has also decided to foray into virtual reality with a collection of unique digital clothing.
Zara's limited Metacollection consists of jumpsuits, jackets, denim shorts, colorful jeans, silk tops, platform sandals and bags. A line called "Lime Glam" from Zara also offers eye shadow and nail polish.
All these things exist only in virtual reality and are already available in the Zepeto app where Zara has previously presented its project in partnership with the South Korean creative team Ader Error and on the official website of the brand.
“This project reflects a new way of thinking, a community that seeks to transcend limitations, embrace its unique identity and individuality,” the brand said in a press release.
It is known that many fashion giants have already released virtual collections. In just the last few weeks, digital clothing from Mango, Pull&Bear, D&G and many more has gone on sale.
