The Spanish brand Zara, which recently suspended its work in Russia, posted a photo of an advertisement for new collection called "51 shades of Skin Love". The title shots show two black men in love, whose lips are about to merge in a kiss, as well as several entwined hands belonging to people of different races and nationalities. According to the company, such advertising was supposed to demonstrate the absence of boundaries of love and the unity of people on the planet. And also to draw attention to a new cosmetic line for people with different skin colors.

Some subscribers in Zara social networks were really delighted with the pictures and showered the creators of the campaign with hearts and applause: “Love is love and it is beautiful in all manifestations!”, they wrote. However, there were those who condemned such candid pictures and reminded that same-sex relationships are not welcome in all countries of the world.

For example, dissatisfaction with the male kiss was expressed by Muslims and part of the Russian-speaking audience. In the comments, buyers shamed the brand for its open LGBT propaganda and asked why there were no women in the pictures. They also reminded the brand that pictures showing same-sex relationships had been in their ads before: “These photos are disgusting! No matter how you try to make it normal, it is beyond human nature, ”subscribers wrote.

You can get acquainted with the new ZARA collection on the official website of the brand.
