The Della Valle family, which owns one of the most famous luxury Italian brands Tod’s, took the initiative to help those who’re fighting against coronavirus on the front line.
The Della Valles, also on behalf of their employees, is donating 5 million Euros to “support the family members of health personnel who lost their lives in the fight against COVID-19," according to Tod’s official statement. "Their selflessness and courage will forever be an example to all of us."
Beyond that, Diego and Andrea Della Valle teamed up with the Italian national body Protezione Civile, responsible for responding to and managing emergency events, to establish Semper con Voi foundation, which means “Always with you” in translation from Italian.
The family also thanked the organization for the "immense work it does every day in the fight against the virus", and invited anyone wishing to contribute to the fund.
