Designer Donatella Versace was invited to work as a guest editor in the recently launched British Baroness Magazine. The first project in a new position for the creative director of Versace House was a collaboration with shocking contemporary artist Sarah Baker. Together, they thought out the style of the photo shoot, which will appear in the second issue of the magazine, and the concept of several short videos that the editors will publish on social networks. Their inspiration was the world of luxury and fashion, and the frames of the photo shoot resemble TV series of the 70’s.

The main heroines of the collaboration were Sarah Baker and Danish model Helena Christensen - in the first video, the young women demonstrate Versace outfits and dreveal the details of the new project. It’s assumed that a series of short videos will grow into a small saga with its intrigue, scandals and a magnificent wedding in the finale.

Donatella Versace believes that this collaboration will significantly expand the influence of her brand in the fashion world.

It’s noteworthy that the aesthetics of the 70’s increasingly inspires gloss publishers. Recently, the British Tatler devoted its 310th issue to the American soap opera Dynasty, which has been televised for eight years. The main heroines of the anniversary issue were designer Sabine Getty and socialite Nicky Hilton.
