The Chanel Metiers d’Art show, which the French brand annually broadcasts in different parts of the world, returned to Paris. Let's see, how it was.

The fashion show was a kind of compliment to the first Chanel Métiers d’Art show of 2002. After Karl Lagerfeld’s death, Virginie Viard was appointed as Creative Director of the maison. The Chanel Metiers d’Art 2020 was Virginia's debut.

The event was originally scheduled for December 5, but was moved up a day because of a national strike on Thursday in Paris.

Virginie managed to recreate Coco Chanel’s apartment in the majestic Grand Palais. The show was dedicated to the Fashion house’s history and traditions; the collection clearly shows Chanel's connection with different countries. In her first show, Virginie Viard emphasized the brand's signature differences - camellias, tweed, layers of necklaces and pearls in the form of chains, comfortable pantsuits. The collection, entitled 31 Rue Cambon, has been a great return to the tradition of Chanel House.

The guests of the show were friends and muses of Chanel house.  Kristen Stewart, Vanessa Paradis with her daughter Lily-Rose Depp, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz and many others attended the show. No wonder, many selebs preferred Chanel outfits.
