American fashion house Tommy Hilfiger uses innovative technology to create new collections of clothing. According to the brand representative, all men's shirts from the upcoming autumn-winter 2020 collection will be fully developed using 3D computer modeling.
Over the past two years, Tommy Hilfiger has been developing technology for introducing computer modeling into the creation and production of new clothes. Unlike the traditional production method, this technology doesn’t require the creation of several experimental samples: clothes are completely drawn on a virtual avatar, and then it remains only to be reproduced. Innovation will simplify the process of creating new items, will help to reduce not only time, but also the consumption of materials. In the future, 3D-models can be used instead of photos.
