Gwyneth Paltrow, the actress and founder of the Goop lifestyle company, has posted several gift lists on her blog, that you can give to friends and colleagues for the Christmas holidays. One of them was called "Weird, but cool". We stopped by and found out what Gwyneth included in her rating.
For example, we’ve found a gilded fire extinguisher, which costs $250, and a strange-shaped rocking chair that simulates a feeling of weightlessness (for almost $2000). Also, there is a real piece of moonstone, a tennis table that transforms into a billiard and pendant lamp from Louis Vuitton in the star rating. One of the strangest gifts on the list is a suit for flying in a wind tunnel, which looks like the Iron Man armor. It seems that the actress was too inspired by her role in the Marvel superhero films. The star doesn’t hide that this list turned out to be a little extravagant, but she believes that it can appeal to those people who already have everything.
The actress’ fans were outraged that the prices of items from the list are extremely high, and most people can’t afford them. For example, the cheapest lot in the Gwyneth’s ranking is a briquette of compressed dehydrated black caviar for $99, stylized as a gold bar, and the most expensive is a ticket for an annual expedition to the North Pole. We wonder, which of these gifts the actress herself would be happy to have: a hat bag or a treehouse?
Apparently, in order not to offend the fans, the star published another list of recommended gifts that cost less than a hundred dollars - half of it consists of cosmetics of the Gwyneth’s personal brand. You can also find canapé sticks, dice and a colorful medical patch in it.
