For all those who plan an Asian vacation: ‘Coats!’, an exhibition unveiling the history of iconic coats by Italian brand Max Mara, opened in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The exhibits will be placed in 7 halls of DPD (Dongdaemun Design Plaza), futuristic center designed by architect Zaha Hadid. Each hall centers around a certain epoch: from 50s till nowadays.
The exhibition features over 90 coats, some of them were created by famous designers such as Anne-Marie Beretta, Karl Lagerfeld, Emmanuelle Khanh, Giambattista Valli, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac andNarciso Rodriguez. In one of the rooms, the guests will be able to see the legendary 10801 coat created by Anne-Marie Beretta, one of the best-selling items of the fashion house ever.
Moreover, the exhibition includes historic magazines, archive materials and ad campaigns.
Moscow, Berlin, Tokyo and Beijing have already hosted ‘Coats!’ exhibition. In Seoul, it will last till December, 12.
