Supermodel Claudia Schiffer will curate a fashion photography exhibition at the Kunstpalast, an art museum in Düsseldorf, Germany. This is the first experience of a model in such a role. "I'll be sharing my personal journey, as well as the incredible work of some of the industry's greatest artists… Can't wait for everyone to see it", she wrote in her ******* profile.
Besides Schiffer's personal archives, the exhibition will feature about 120 works by such famous fashion photographers of the 90s as Ellen von Unwerth, Corrine Day, Arthur Elgort, Herb Ritts, Juergen Teller, and Karl Lagerfeld.
The exhibition will run from March to June 2021. The venue was not chosen by chance - Claudia's modeling career began in Dusseldorf. Right there, 17-year-old Schiffer met the director of the Metropolitan modeling agency Michel Levaton.
