French fashion house Chanel presented the Cruise 2020/21 collection in the online format. The fashion show was scheduled for May 7 on Capri, but had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The brand's decision to showcase some looks from the new collection on Chanel's official ******* account was announced just a few days before the event. The Cruise 2020/21 collection will be available in November this year.

This time, Chanel's creative director Virginie Viard tried to combine the brand's traditional silhouettes and materials with a soft color palette, which reflected all the shades of sunset on the seaside: from soft pink, which is found on trapeze dresses in the style of the 60s, to deep blue, which can be seen in prints and accessories.

The collection includes costumes with Bermuda shorts, multi-colored palazzo jeans with embroidery, sequin bikini decorated with sequins, crop tops, frill blouses and miniskirts. In addition to traditional quilted bags on a chain handle, the brand introduced several micro-models that have every chance of becoming the main object of desire for fashion influencers. Designers paid special attention to flat shoes and sports sandals as well as accessories - necklaces, earrings with brand logo, and belts that can be worn with short tops or swimsuits.

Next year, Virginie Viard suggests using the white color in full and wearing light total-look outfits while having a rest in warm countries, paying particular attention to the style of safari, English lace and tweed, which has long become one of the symbols of the Chanel fashion house.
