One of the last foreign cosmetic brands that remained on the Russian market until the last days announced the termination of work in our country. French natural cosmetics brand L'Occitane has announced that it is closing all stores and online stores in Russia. The reason for this decision was a special operation in Ukraine and the aggressive behavior of customers in some countries who may refuse brand products.
Earlier, the representatives of L'Occitane stated that they were not going to leave the Russian market, after which a real persecution of the brand and those who work in it began on the Internet. Users called for a boycott of the cosmetics manufacturer and promised never to buy its products again. As a result, the company's management changed its mind and announced the termination of work in Russia. According to him, this is how they try to protect their employees around the world from potential public aggression due to the current situation. L'Occitane also decided to stop investing in the Russian market. Recall that the brands Clinique, MAC, Tommy Hilfiger, DKNY and Jo Malone have recently ceased their activities in Russia.
