Billy Porter makes his directorial debut
The star of the "Pose" series, Billy Porter, will be on the other side of the camera - very soon, the actor will try himself as a director. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he will debut a teen drama titled "What If?" written by Alvaro García Lecuona.
Porter has not yet revealed the cast and release date of the film but told about the plot. The film tells the story of a high school student named Khal, who talks on social networks about his feelings for a transgender girl Kelsa and soon starts dating her.
"I'm thrilled to be part of this new space in Hollywood for telling all types of stories from all types of people. I am grateful to be in a position to usher some of these stories into the mainstream," Billy Porter said.
