Ever since Shakira and Jennifer Lopez were announced as headlining the Super Bowl LIV Halftime show, it was expected that the two would bring the Latino Power, and the singers did not disappoint. Ahead of the big game, at a press conference, the singers confessed that they had worked a lot and would definitely bring the heat.

During the 15-minute show, they performed their major hits and managed to change a few costumes. The singers were joined by J Balvin and Bad Bunny. JLo also welcomed her 11-year-old daughter. Emme Muñiz (11), appeared singing a song. Supporting in the background was Shakira, who knocked out a solo from behind a drum kit.

Before the performance, Lopez posted a touching ******* photo, where she is hugging Shakira and is encouraging her before going out in public. “So excited to share the stage with you tonight. Let’s show the world what two little Latin girls can do”, she captioned the photo.

Both singers opted for dazzling outfits and looked stunning: Jennifer hit the stage in a spectacular black leather jumpsuit, while Shakira put on a red mini dress with sequins. The whole thing ended with a fierce dance-off between Shakira and Lopez. By the finale, after countless costume changes girls wowed 60,000 football fans with outfits of gold and silver colors.

 

 

Jennifer Lopez’s hairdresser Chris Appleton shared a few behind the scenes videos: J lo is watching Shakira's room and prepares herself to go on stage. The singers admitted that participation in such a prestigious tournament was their dream. In the past, Madonna, Beyonce, Katy Perry and other celebrities also presented at the Big Game.

Right after the show, Lady Gaga tweeted what she was delighted by the show and the energy, the audience felt throughout the performances. She was supported by Pink and Donatella Versace who worked on Lopez and Shakira’s stage sets.
