Last December, actress Emma Stone announced that she was marrying her boyfriend, screenwriter and director Dave McCary, whom she had been dating for about three years. The couple didn’t disclose the official date of the ceremony for a long time: it was only known that it would be held in Los Angeles in the presence of relatives and close friends.

As it turned out, Dave and Emma were supposed to get married last weekend, but the wedding had to be canceled urgently due to the spread of the coronavirus - On Monday, President Trump suggested that no gatherings should take place in the US of more than 10 people in an effort to stifle the spread of the illness. So, the couple decided not to rush and hold off.

Earlier, singer Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando are in a similar position as Stone and may be pushing back their own upcoming wedding - they were supposed to get married this summer in Japan. It also became known that Natalya Vodyanova and Antoine Arnault were thinking about postponing the ceremony. If their wedding, scheduled for early June, still takes place, only family members and closest friends will attend.
