Happy and Free: Meghan Markle's First Outing in London

In January, Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle announced that they want to step back as senior members of the royal family and gain financial independence. Queen Elizabeth II supported their decision and said that all changes regarding their position would enter into force on March 31. Now, the couple lives with their son Archie in Canada and is engaged in charity work. A few days ago, they returned to the UK for their last official tour in the status of Dukes of Sussex.

The first event they attended was the Endeavor Fund Awards, that honors veterans and servicemen and women who have achieved extraordinary milestones in their recovery from injury by taking part in sporting and adventure challenges over the past year.

For Meghan Markle, this outing was her first official public appearance - she spent the last two months in Canada. For the gala evening, she opted for a fitted teal dress by Victoria Beckham dress for £ 950, matching navy Manolo Blahnik pumps and a marble clutch. Meghan pulled her long dark hair into a chic low ponytail and did makeup with an emphasis on her eyes. Prince Harry was dressed in a rich blue suit and a tie. The couple’s fans noted that the royal couple looked happy: they smiled a lot, joked and held hands, that royal etiquette categorically forbids.

Their final engagements will culminate on Monday when they join Abbey, which will take place on March 9. It will also be attended by Prince Charles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Elizabeth II at a service marking Commonwealth Day in London.
