Supermodel Irina Shayk starred in an advertisement for the latest collection of clothes by Jean Paul Gaultier. The luxury brand is resurrecting its former glory and returning to the noughties with their sultry silhouettes and bold prints. Filming took place on the French Riviera. Irina presented hot pink and bright green fitted dresses, as well as knitted sets for a summer trip.
Corset-stitched leotards are paired again with nostalgically low-rise jeans, while jersey dresses once again playfully catch the eye with boat cutouts. In several photos, Irina appeared in a black swimsuit with seductive lacing on the sides, in another picture she appeared in a plain suit with a double-breasted jacket and a skirt below the knees.
The designers of the collection paid homage to the 1994 Les Tatouages spring-summer show by adopting some interesting prints from it. One version of the archival print imitates the pattern on printed fabrics and tulle, the other (it was used for the beach line) consists of an abundance of tropical palm trees.
