The Earth Aliance charity, co-sponsored by Leonardo DiCaprio, has donated $3 million to firefighting in Australia. The organization has committed to allocate funds to save wildlife and its long-term restoration. The charitable foundation wrote about this on Twitter, and this morning Leonardo DiCaprio shared this news on his *******.

Forest fires have already destroyed millions of hectares, killed at least 25 people and destroyed 2,000 homes. About one billion animals suffered in forest fires. In some places, it became impossible to extinguish fires from the air due to heavy smoke. Therefore, money from the Earth Aliance environmental organization will also be used to help Australians affected by the fires.

Leonardo DiCaprio cares not only about the environmental safety of the planet. The Hollywood actor took part in the rescue of a man drowning in the Caribbean. The actor’s yacht was not far from the scene, and Leonardo DiCaprio agreed that his yacht deviate from the course and take part in the search for a Frenchman who fell overboard. All’s well that ends well!
