18-year-old British actress, model and producer Millie Bobby Brown has been chosen to be brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton. The "Stranger Things" star appeared in the French fashion house's spring eyewear campaign alongside supermodel Karlie Kloss and singer Lous and the Yakuza. The creative director of the women's line of the fashion house, Nicolas Ghesquière, met the actress six years ago, during her visit to the Louis Vuitton office. “I met Nicolas Ghesquière six years ago and have been a fan of his work with Louis Vuitton ever since. Today I am proud to join the Louis Vuitton family. Really, pinch me, it's a magical moment," Brown said in her official statement.
The campaign was photographed by Steven Meisel. Brown appeared in My Monogram and LV Moon sunglasses with square frames. Previously, the actress took part in advertising campaigns for Calvin Klein, Pandora, Moncler and Samsung. She also owns a majority stake in the Gen Z cosmetics and skincare brand Florence by Mills. Millie, who often wears Louis Vuitton on the red carpet, was nominated for two Emmy Awards for Stranger Things and won a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2017. In 2018, she became the youngest person ever to be included in Time magazine's list of the world's most influential people. In the same year, she also became the youngest UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
