73rd EE British Academy Film Awards took place at London's Albert Hall on Sunday evening. This year, members of the Royal family attended the award ceremony: Prince William and Kate Middleton became guests of honor. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts made a bet on environmental friendliness: in addition to vegetarian dishes and gifts made from recycled materials, attendees of the 2020 BAFTAs had been asked to rent clothes, buy a vintage ensemble, or rewear something they already owned. This time, it was assumed that the evening dresses of the guests may not be new.
The Duchess of Cambridge supported the trend for responsible consumption and appeared at the ceremony in the white and gold dress from Alexander McQueen. She previously wore it to a state dinner in Malaysia back in 2012. The Duchess of Cambridge looked dazzling: Kate complemented a white outfit with glittering gold hibiscus embroidery, Jimmy Choos pumps, extravagant jewellery from Van Cleef & Arpels and a golden by Anya Hindmarch.
