Elon Musk's former lover, who describes herself as a "post-human, neo-feudal female warrior," has created a digital copy of herself in the metaverse. The singer's avatar appeared at Metaverse Fashion Week, which was held on the Decentraland virtual reality platform.
On the final day of the event, the digital Grimes took part in the AUROBOROS virtual clothing show, wearing a Mystique bodysuit inspired by the X-Men and Black Panther characters. AUROBOROS designers Paula Sello and Alyssa Aulbekova called Grimes the label's "first muse". The singer appeared indoors with a virtual waterfall and a powerful light show, playing a musical set.
“Grimes was one of our inspirations for the creation of the AUROBOROS brand. She embodies the perfect combination of mysticism, technology and creative genius, very close to the aesthetics and vision of the future of our brand,” said the designers of AUROBOROS.
AUROBOROS is one of the first digital fashion houses to create clothes for digital avatar, the first digital brand to make it to London Fashion Week and London's Victoria and Albert Museum, where one of his Biomimicry dresses is on display, blooming and fading in real time.
