Karl Lagerfeld has released new limited-edition non-fungible NFT tokens as part of its latest collaboration with London-based hipster street artist Endless. One of them is made in the form of a gold coin with a portrait of the designer in pink, the price of which was 15,000 euros.

Lagerfeld is depicted on the coins in his signature image - with a black tie, stiff collar and hair pulled back. Other Monnaie de Paris virtual coins are cheaper - 150 euros each. The fashion house also released 35 physical blue collectible coins, each of which can be purchased for 1,500 euros. There is also an NFT for sale with a picture of the central office of the fashion house in Saint-Germain on the Rue Saint-Guillaume with pink graffiti on the facade.

For those who buy NFT, Lagerfeld will provide digital access to his own VIP club, exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and invitations to some of the brand's shows. This project also participates in a charity event: with every NFT purchase in Madagascar, a mangrove tree will be planted as part of the Re:Earth project. “I am delighted that the fashion community can now experience the world of Karl Lagerfeld through NFT. By merging physical and digital creativity, we are taking a huge step forward towards a unique digital collectible experience,” said Pier Paolo Righi, CEO of the Karl Lagerfeld brand. All NFTs are now available for purchase on the Web3 digital marketplace The Dematerialized.
