Saul Nash wins International Woolmark Prize 2022

British designer Saul Nash has become the recipient of one of the most prestigious awards given to outstanding fashion designers, the International Woolmark Prize 2022. The fashion designer and founder of the Saul Nash brand of the same name was recognized for "contemporary use of merino wool and building a bridge between active solutions and more conservative demands" .

Nash works with wool in the most waste-free way, paying attention to how the body feels in clothes made from this material. The designer creates beautiful fabrics, emphasizing their natural beauty and not distorting the structure of the material. The Karl Lagerfeld Innovation Award went to the South African design duo of Mmusomaxwell, Maxwell Boko and Mmuso Potsane. Model Naomi Campbell and fashion designer Tom Brown were on the jury. Winners will receive cash prizes ranging from $144,000 to $72,000.
