In her second campaign for Burberry Bella Hadid starred in the first-ever Burberry's bag campaign. The new collection features the historical Pocket Bag, "a symbol of strength." The so-called "Dutch duo" Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, a.k.a. Inez And Vinoodh were working on the creation of the photo series.
The animal-inspired photoshoot is based on the sculptural silhouettes of wild cats. "Animals have always been a creative obsession and signature of mine, and it was so amazing to see Bella Hadid bring this to life as the panther," Riccardo Tisci revealed his source of inspiration for the collection. The Creative Director saw the "fierce power" and "raw femininity" in the supermodel, which correlated with his vision of the animal-spirited kingdom, established back in the 20th century by founding father Thomas Burberry.
