Lately, many celebrities have started launching their own beauty brands. In September of this year, singer and actress Selena Gomez presented her Rare Beauty brand, and now it's Jennifer Lopez's turn. The news about the new beauty brand JLo Beauty appeared back in August, but there was no information about launch dates and products.
And now, finally, the veil of secrecy was ajar. In a recent interview with WWD, Lopez talked about JLo Beauty's debut line and also shared the secrets of her skin-care routine.
"My mother, my aunt, my grandmother, all of them used olive oil as a magnificence product [on] hair when it obtained too dry, in your face and your physique, on the stomach while you're pregnant," Lopez remembered. "What it does for the pores and skin is superb, [but ] no one desires to odor like a salad. So, it was like, how can we take the olive and create one thing that's proprietary to us?"
The singer also admitted that the pandemic was good for her - during the lockdown, Jennifer allowed her skin and hair to relax.
"Throughout quarantine is after we had been ending up and going by means of the formulations and packaging for JLo Beauty," she added. "As I discuss it, and my philosophy on magnificence and life and skincare and feeling nice and with the ability to glow from the within out, it's all very knowledgeable by this final yr, for certain."
The debut line of JLo Beauty includes eight skin-care products and will be available in North America on January 1, online and in Sephora stores.
